- TRASH BASH
St. Charles Parish will once again go green on March 25 with the parishwide Trash Bash, a litter cleanup and recycling awareness event to be held from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The celebration will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center. Volunteers are invited to enjoy free food, music, face painting and information about local recycling efforts and wetlands restoration.
The Capital Area Corporate Recycling Council will be on site to collect old electronics and provide recycling information to residents. Those interested in volunteering may sign up as teams or individuals at scptrashbash.org or by calling (985) 331-8604.
- SUMMER CAMP
Inclusive Summer Day Camp is scheduled to run from June 5 until July 14 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Friday for campers ages 5 through 14 for all campers including those with disabilities.
Regular registration will be open from March 7 until May 7 until midnight (online) at a cost of $400. Late registration will begin on May 8 until midnight (online) at a cost of $400 with a $50 late fee.

SUMMER CAMP STAFF
Recreation is also now accepting applications for summer camp staff until 4 p.m. March 31.
Interviews will be scheduled for early April and all applicants will be notified via phone or email with the date and time of their interview.
Applications can be obtained from the main office in the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center at 274 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway in Luling or by visiting the website.
