EMPLOYEE DRESS DOWN WEEK FOR RELAY FOR LIFE
"Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature fund-raising activity, bringing communities together in hope, celebration, and memory. This unique event offers everyone in the community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. At the August 28, 2017 St. Charles Parish Council meeting, the Council and Parish President proclaimed September 25-29 to be Relay for Life Fundraising Week. The St. Charles Parish Relay For Life event will take place on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the West Bank Bridge Park from 12:00 noon-12:00 midnight.
In honor of this event, we will have a fundraiser Monday, September 25 thru Friday September 29, parish office employees will be allowed to “Dress Down” for $5.00. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. If possible, please designate one person from each department to collect the donations and send to Robin by 4pm September 21st. Those employees not wishing to participate must report to work in their uniform. If you wish to participate in “Dress Down” week, you will be allowed to wear your own shirts/blouses with jeans/pants if you choose, however, please note the following:
- No tanks or sleeveless blouses/shirts are allowed.
- No crop pants, capris, shorts, or leggings are allowed.
- No sweat pants or jogging suits.
- No flip-flops, crocs, or beach shoes allowed.
On Friday, September 29, we will Paint the Parish Purple. All employees are asked to wear purple to work to raise awareness for the cause. 4-10 office employees may wear purple on Thursday, September 28th.
