About
96-gallon wheeled containers are used with the parish's semi-automated residential garbage collection. Both the garbage containers (or carts) and bagged residential trash on the ground are serviced by one truck at the same time with two hoppers on the back. The hoppers handle the containers. The current vendor for the semi-automated collection is Pelican Waste & Debris Services.

Twice-per-week garbage pickup is billed monthly via water bills.
