St. Charles Parish is encouraging all residents to BE PREPARED for a hurricane threats. Atlantic Hurricane Season lasts from June 1 until Nov. 30. St. Charles Parish, with its low elevation and close proximity to open water on both East and West Banks, remains uniquely vulnerable to all types of hurricane threats.
