Nutrition and organized play best describes the Summer Food Service Program offered at East and West Bank schools for six weeks during the summer months. Children eligible for enrollment in St. Charles Parish Schools may participate in this fun and exciting experience.
St. Charles Parish Schools and the Sheriff’s Department work with the Department of Community Services to execute this program. Also, children participating in the Recreation Summer Camp Program are automatically eligible for the free meals at the summer feeding sites.
Mentoring and sponsorship opportunities are available to help this program cultivate a healthy opportunity for our children.
